This one-size figurado was built in a shape reminiscent of the towering Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The five-inch-long cigar has a pointy tip and is pressed on all four sides, and is fattest (57 ring) at the foot, thinnest (44 ring) at the head. “I really wanted to celebrate the artistry of our cigar rollers,” said Mike Giannini. One roller created the mold in his garage. When the blend combines with the Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper and is exalted by its obelisk shape, this firecracker of a cigar “pops” with balanced, full-bodied flavor.
